Title: Should you block AI from accessing your website?
Description:
Over 250 of the most popular websites in the world have decided to block AI bots from crawling their websites. In the top 100 sites its more than 25.
This needs looking into and considering how it filters down to the rest of us. It's probably something most of us won't have considered yet, but the time will come and if asked by your Board, CEO, or Directors what your strategy is, you'll have thought about it now.
In today's video, I talk through the Pros and Cons of blocking these bots. This will help you with the conversations you'll need to start having at your end.
Each of you will have a unique view and take on this. There is no right answer. This is changing so fast. What's right for you now, may not be in a year. The most important thing is to have it on your radar and start these conversations sooner rather than later.
Action:
The action today is to equip yourself with the knowledge I give you in the video. This is a big decision and could impact many parts of your business so don't take it alone and don't take it lightly. Document your thought process and involve other senior team members in the decision making process.
If you do decide to block AI Bots, here are a couple of useful links for you:

In this section I'll be updating it with my favourite marketing tools. Each time I review a tool I'll be sure to make recommendations on how I believe this could fit within B2B and B2C businesses.
Over time I create slide decks, toolkits and whitepapers which will become automatically available to the membership.
