Title: LinkedIn adds SEO functionality
Description: LinkedIn has added some basic SEO functionality to its in-platform blogging area - articles. You can now overide standard page titles and descriptions and make them more SEO friendly. Given LinkedIn's authority this means you could have two bites of the cherry to surface your content and most importantly, your people. By the way, this also links nicely to our first video about Google E-E-A-T (in the back catalogue) as this is a way to build the credibility of your people.
Action - Consider LinkedIn Articles as part of your content plan. Who's authority do you want to build online? Have your key people create thought leadership pieces with SEO in mind. If they build their credibility and you link to it on your main site, it will help your rankings in the long run.
